Google Earth Wind Farm

I chose a rural area approximately 15 miles northwest of Marquette, Michigan for my wind farm. The fact that it is rural is an asset as there are no neighbors to complain about noise or shadow flicker. The wind is a class 4 ranging from 6 kts to 16 kts which is highly suitable. This area is not in a direct path of the four "flyways" of bird migration and by being on shore by nine miles, shipping routes are not a factor. Again, the rural setting is perfect for the landscape and visual impact. This location is relatively bare and there would be few, if any impediments.
